Martina Schobersberger studied organ and harpsichord with Prof. August Humer at the Brucknerkonservatorium Linz and with Jean-Claude Zehnder and Andrea Marcon at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Basel/Switzerland) and University of Music in Trossingen/Germany. During that time Martina Oman worked as organist at St. Mary’s Church in Olten/Switzerland.
She is member and project manager of the Austrian Baroque Company, performs regularly as a soloist and as an ensemble musician in major international cities and festivals and is regularly invited to masterclasses for Early Music. She has made various radio broadcasts and CD recordings (for Sony Music, ORF Edition Alte Musik, Claves and others) well as Organ CDs for the labels "Orgellandschaft Oberösterreich" and fra bernardo. Her career also includes research into the performance practice of medieval music for organetto (portative organ).
Martina Schobersberger now teaches at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz and is organist at the Ursulinen Church in Linz.
